Over 20 years ago, I created a little website http://www.baseballgraphs.com/ for fun. It lead me into a ten-year rabbit hole of writing and opining about baseball for The Hardball Times (https://tht.fangraphs.com/author/studes/). Now I just sit and marvel at what was wrought.
