I don’t think raw milk and raw food are the same thing. My dog is on raw pork because of her extreme allergies but yeah, I would never give her raw milk.

Raw pork can be deadly. I feed my dogs homemade food bc they cannot tolerate commercial dog food. Please look up dog food recipes at the UC Davis Veterinary School website. They are easy to make. Dogs are omnivores but don’t like spices and herbs. Some foods we eat are poison for them.

Dogs do t get salmonella so it’s tempting to give them raw chicken. But they can get sick from other things in raw chicken. Don’t let them eat iguana poo either. Sounds silly, but here in SoFla it’s a problem bc they seem to love it.

According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, they are exactly the same. Both are dangerous, and you should not feed any raw animal protein to your pets.

I don’t know what else you want me to do. I found a food that works, so why are you coming at me? She can’t have beef, chicken, peanut butter sweet potatoes. That doesn’t leave much. We’re doing the best we can here and I’m glad it’s going well. Thanks for your concern.

Vets (in the US) overwhelmingly recommend Science Diet, Iams, Purina, & Royal Canin (& Eukanuba for dogs) because their diets are backed by extensive research & rigorous testing. They also employ large teams of nutritionists, veterinarians, & scientists. 1/2

I'm a dog person, but even I know that you aren't supposed to give adult cats milk at all (some can drink it, but enough are lactose intolerant that it's not worth the risk).

I have 9 cats that are solely outdoor cats. I feed them a dry formulation of cat food. They are descended from one sweet Tom. I could not force this colony to adapt to being indoor cats. 🫤
