There are other reasons to avoid buying Tesla cars, but claiming that that Elon Musk's appalling bigotry and unhinged behaviour isn't a significant factor is hopelessly obtuse. I can barely keep track of the businesses I won't give money to on ethical grounds - often for way more petty reasons.
