The puffin who was sitting on a rock to the middle left for a while just stood up and stretched. I actually said "Ooooh, big stretch!" out loud. And then he walked across, past the camera and out of shot, and I giggled like a kid. I love that puffin so much.

They are the best! Last weekend I drove four hours each way and stayed two nights in a Premier Inn to go to RSPB Bempton Cliffs for a few hours and see maybe a dozen quite distant puffins and it was SO WORTH IT.

They're so cute, and ridiculous, and wonderful. Watching them take flight, it felt like they were breaking the laws of physics. No way they should be able to stay in the air! But they do.
