The more I read about Jobs' actual life and ethics, I'm glad he's not around in this timeline. He had really bad takes on public policy and things like teachers unions, so him being able to flex his influence like Bezos or Musk would be shit.
He didn't involve himself much in politics tho. At least not the way Elon/Thiel/Sacks do

(He also didn’t need a pancreas transplant if he got his very rare highly treatable pancreatic cancer treated before it spread - the fact that he essentially bought his pancreas transplant later was criminal since he was no longer a viable donor candidate)
Yeah, he had an important impact on technology and life. I definitely didn't want him to die but maybe after he was kidnapped he could have lived his days out on a nice secluded island with a couple other billionaires would be better off not in public.
