The people she is talking about are also our enemies. True, they are not pointing the guns at our heads, but they are not stopping it, and they laugh when the triggers get pulled. I wonder, when the guns are pointed at their heads, who will be left to laugh.

No, I guess not.

I live in a blue dot in a red state. My family, my friends, and I are all targets of Trump's attacks on HHS and section 504. People who laugh at us because we "deserve it"... I can be allies with them, we can work together, but right now they don't sound like friends to me.

I get that feeling. I REALLY do. I’m working really hard though to appreciate any ally who presents themselves no matter how late to the party they are. I go back to “Do I want to be right or do I want to be happy?” And I’d rather all of us be happy and alive and working towards something better.
