Workaround
I made my own separate flat database using the Memento app - I keep links to any interesting post, with a few tags and can look them up later.
there is some kludge work around wher if you follow some pin feed, you get a custom feed with everything you have replied to with this emoji (which isn't in firefox !!!!!!!!)
The best Bluesky version of booking for now is replying to posts with the 📌 emoji! This adds all the posts to a custom, only visible to you feed that you can click on like your other feeds, and access whenever you need. I have found it very useful (if imperfect)
Click (or tap) on the # Feeds bar on the lefthand side of your screen, and the list of feeds you've saved (including the Pinned feed) will appear. Click on the feed with the pushpin emoji to see your saved posts! Should also appear on your top bar next to Following along any other feeds
(Addendum: It will only show up on the top bar next to Following, aka the default chronological Bluesky feed, if you choose to 'pin' it there in addition to saving it. You CAN save a feed without also pinning it to your feeds. The names of the pinned feeds are visible/clickable on the top bar)
(If you haven't saved any other feeds, I highly recommend it! It's a great way to find new/different content, like the Discover feed, or niche interests. For example, I subscribe to the Gardening and Cat Pics feeds for some calming images!)
You can also include content in your pushpin reply, by way of annotating the post. Text, hashtags, images (a screenshot?), links.
So it's much richer than a mere bookmark flag.
You betcha!! (I was once very confused why I saw people replying to posts with that emoji--but it is totally not a weird thing, which I had wondered if it was, lol)
I'd like, say, 10 tag/pins/buckets that I can rename and change the icon of. A bit like Apple Mail flags. More than that is overkill, but I'd like to curate some stashes, sure.
If I click the time of your post, it goes to a direct link to it. Then I can bookmark per the normal method of my browser. Does that work for what you wanted?
I've taken to using Firefox's own bookmark system 4 Bluesky keepsies, it's pretty good and searchable. CTRL + D to bookmark, add tags to organise. CTRL+SHIFT+O to view them. All I want now is a bookmark view randomiser. There are some, but they only open single random tabs - want a scrollable page.
you can right click your bookmarks in firefox and get all of them in a string and then use Python or something to concatenate all of them... I'd code an example if you wanted
it's possible in chrome as well... but i think most people don't want to have to run a Python script and would rather have the feature built into the app they use... so i understand 🙂

If you add words to the pin, you can also search using the extra words as folder names or tags using the search term:
