Okay I cried, and discovered 5 things I did wrong last time (,and now have to pay extra penalties,) and did 4 other less-important-but-tax-adjacent tasks, but ultimately I did the most important tax task by 10pm and I think that's a win. Donuts tomorrow

Sometimes days when I can’t motivate myself to do creative things are the best days for making myself do tedious things. It sure is the opposite kind of procrastination than you’d expect!

Ooohh that's good, although the tedious things I often end up doing instead are like de-pilling my sweaters or organizing my drawers. Maybe I can redirect to doing my taxes in the future lol

😆 I could see that! But yeah, I’m usually sitting at my desk, like, “You have to do SOMETHING,” so I just start categorizing expenses while listening to music or let’s plays that don’t need my full attention
