Problem is on matchdays like this upcoming saturday where the kickoff temp will be a high of 29 degrees and only lower from there. I don't see a lot of people wanting to attend matches from late nov to early march in northern clubs

Seems like it goes from roughly 3 months to almost 4.5 months of off season with the long winter break, right?

If you look at it in terms of Saturdays, it's 10 weeks and 10 weeks. No change to the length of the "off-season" outside of FIFA dates.

Only thing I would do different is move MLS Cup to Memorial Day. I see no reason not to play in May.

Dude, I would consider giving up my season tickets if we permanently switch to a winter schedule. If it’s temporary adjacent to the World Cup, fine, but would be bummed if it’s forever
