for those unfamiliar with competitive Pokemon this is the equivalent of if the NBA made guns legal and Lebron James insisted that this was ruining the sport but was forced to use one in order to keep up with the competition and despite his hatred of guns the NBA started out giving Lebron Themed Guns

- it wasn't used at all in gen 7 until it got intimidate access then it was really good and kept getting new tools in both gen 8 and 9
- it can do basically anything you want quite well with its litany of good options
- fire/dark is v good defensively
- flare blitz for good damage even without atk investment
- parting shot/u-turn for pivots
- knock off and fake out for good control moves
- will-o-wisp to not die
that's just the most common moves
the number of options means it can run basically any item as well
