I don't know what kind of artists my grandparents would have made. They all died of smoking related diseases before I was born.

Agree across the board. One of the inadvertently smartest decisions I've ever made in my life is never touching a cigarette. Can't pretend it was because I was smart, it just never appealed to me. A rare good decision made in my younger days.

My life orbited around his work since I first encountered it in the early 90s. So many of my friends came through that shared passion. My walls are covered with pictures from his work, and photos from our visits to Snoqualmie valley where the show was filmed. We grieve together. As one.
