I'm drooling looking at that (not the mushrooms) but alas since my heart attack and quadruple bypass earlier this year, I only allow myself one every two months or so. π I hope it was bliss.
That looks delicious AND health-giving, and what are the white things with tomato sauce dribbled on them? Eggs? Whatever, I'll eat them anyway. God, haven't had a good fry-up since FOR EVER. Hard to get decent bacon over here.
Poached eggs! And they noticed that brought my own sriracha sauce so they started making it available, thatβs whats on the eggs. They bake their own bread here too and itβs delicious.
One day (when I have money) I'll visit you in Dublin and you can take me to this place AND that Baggot Street bar where they filmed James Coburn in GiΓΉ la testa (if it still exists...)
(If you're unfamiliar with the cling film method:
- line a mug with clingfilm
- drop the egg into the clingfilm
- seal the top of the clingfilm so you have a little closed pouch with an egg in the bottom and plenty of air
- place that in your pan of water)

I now want poached eggs.
- way more water than you think ought to be necessary
- the freshest eggs on earth
All the other tips are bunkum, although I do like to do the swirl.
If you're really that bad there's always the cling film method?
- line a mug with clingfilm
- drop the egg into the clingfilm
- seal the top of the clingfilm so you have a little closed pouch with an egg in the bottom and plenty of air
- place that in your pan of water)
