sure - she's clearly got some obnoxious opinions that haven't been included in the C4 show, and that's at best disingenuous of C4. But as I said, she's not the presenter. She's one of six participants.

Yeah. You can say channel 4 should have maybe screeened more, but like, maybe they did. I mean, her views are probably representative of a large number of British muslims and she strikes you as articulate in defence. Seems reasonable to have in the mix if they’re tackling this area.

there's a big difference. This is basically an ill-judged reality show; she's one of the cast. A presenter is a representative of the channel; someone taking part in a reality show is not.

Okay, I kind of see the distinction, but even so, quite often even presenters are employed by, or contracted to, a separate production co, and not the channel. e.g. Endemol. So, I'm still not sure it really matters, and the point is surely her hateful views, rather than what could easily be a typo.

I would argue that anyone a production company is paying a fat sum to film is effectively a representative of them, but I suspect best to agree to disagree on this, as I say, for me the main point is the bigotry, and the platform the programme has afforded it, rather than specific role therein.
