AI is not and will never be an option to me, so that leaves my own art skills. i'm a very mediocre artist who has only ever focused on characters. sounds perfect, but i am not good at digital art. the most i can do confidently is line art, no flat colors, but nothing dynamic or all that elaborate.

it's gonna take me a very long time to learn, because it's really, REALLY taxing on my mental. knowing that im at best a couple years away from results that meet my tastes is destroying me, and i hardly draw anymore because of this. i have fun *sometimes* but not always. i never look forward to it

i have an upcoming compilation of random singles, including my patreon exclusives. it likely wont come out by the end of q1 unless i make the concession of not drawing a character and going generic. the stress im putting on myself to bring a good drawing is not healthy

really the last thing i want to be told is to seek out artists willing to work for free instead of keeping this up or any kind of comment along the lines. first of all, it literally just sounds like being told to give up. secondly, i dont have the heart not to pay anyone i work with.

tl; dr: learning to draw is hard for my adhd pea brain, i cant have all the booba i want at the moment, you're gonna have to hold on for it because i'm poor and have a lot to learn before i feel comfortable making my own character based cover art.
