Deeply miss old twitter. I love that in those early years there were meetups of like 20-50 people and that was a majority of users for like all of Sydney. We all knew each other. Now twitter is just like a train station, full of crazies

Great wrap-up! I definitely had very similar feels (and still do!) after I deleted my account earlier this year. It meant so much to me and it hurts my soul to see what it became.

It's sad to see what's happened to Twitter. As it turned out, Musk couldn't care less about the value plummeting. He got exactly what he wanted.
