When did this word become okay again? Did people with Down Syndrome stop existing all of a sudden? I feel like there’s a minimum decency we should all be able to agree to, and not saying “retarded” is the lowest bar to clear.

I guess I'm too woke because I find the proliferation of this really off-putting and gross. The fact that it's now reached the "enlightened centrists" class is depressing.
