It's definitely one of my favorites just because of how easy it is to dial in some wild stuff and animate it too. Wish it had a built-in envelope follower but REAPER remedy's that anyway

Inspiration in the most mundane things - this is why I admire sound designers! If I may ask, how do you typically decide the purpose of a certain sound you hear in IRL? Is it usually a lucky "in the moment" discovery or is it something you actively seek out in certain objects?

After working in sound design for a while I think there’s definitely a shift in attentiveness, especially when you’re also field recording a lot. When you start to internalize how you can process one thing to make it sound a different way there kind of is a whole other world that opens up

I see, fascinating stuff. It does seem like it makes everyday activities a lot more intriguing! And I get it, you just gotta get the right squeak and creak, it can all change on a whim. I remember even as a kid being very laser-focused on footstep sounds in-game and if they sounded "right"

Great idea! They make a bunch of useful sounds!! I've got Mo-TT, Output Thermal for saturation, Kirchhoff EQ to boost but also limit some gnarly midrange, and Unfiltered Audio Bass Mint to add some sub!
