The voter apathy in Texas is a massive problem, born of sustained voter suppression and gerrymandering along with generational party affiliation. (i.e. "My daddy is a republican, so I am, too.")
There are 19,000 registered voters in my city. Average participation in local elections is roughly 1,700 votes cast. Participation is higher in general election years, but not by much. It irks me endlessly that we can't manage to do better.
I don’t know about that. Paxton and Patrick have pretty punchable faces. Paxton might edge out the other two. Maybe put Cruz in the middle, Paxton first. Such a delicious thought. Can I use brass knuckles? And where do I get them?
