I finally started Immortal Dark and so far so good! I'm a sucker for vampires coexisting with humans. The set up is good and it's darker than I expected 👀 So I'm excited now.
Right now I'm listening to all of the Slow Horses series. They are British spy thrillers, which really isn't my thing at all, but they are so good and funny and the narrator is great!
You know I primarily read mysteries but for more fantasy, The Night Circus was great, and for something quick and exciting, Lucy Foley or Lisa Jewell novels have great audiobooks. The Guest List or The Hunting Party by Foley, and The Family Upstairs or None of This is True by Jewell.
Ooh, I've always wanted to try something by Lisa Jewell. You don't have to read/listen to them in order or anything? I've mostly just been listening to queer romances cause I find them easy to follow (I struggle with aural learning/retention), but I'm ready for a change!
The only ones that I'm aware of are are The Family Upstairs(1st) and then The Family Remains. The others are stand alone. Those , along with None of this is True have been my favorites.
I just listened to the preview for None of This Is True. The production value right off the hop seems better than I am used to 🤣 I think I'll give it a go! I'm worried I am going to get really lost trying to listen to a murder mystery...may have to relisten to parts, but that's ok. Thank youuuuu!
