Open Spotlight search by pressing CMD+Spacebar and search for "Automator". Open it.

Select "Folder Action" and press "Choose".

Choose a folder you want to apply this action to. All HEIC files in this chosen folder will be converted automatically!

Search "Image type" in the left search bar and drag "Change Type of Images" to the right side.

Note: Choose "Don't Add" if you don't want to keep the original HEIC file.

Select wanted image type (JPG in our case) and save this action by pressing CMD+S and give it a name.
