Journalism is a profession, and as such must adhere to the common requirements of a profession. To name two:

-They hold fellow professionals to the standards of the profession.

They're simply selling writers'/TV hosts' words on paper or on TV, to consumers. In whatever way they feel like or can make $ off of, or can gain advantages from.
Bezos is a coward.
I let my subscription to the Post expire last month. Like another commenter said, now I wish I could let it expire again.
