I've greatly curtailed my viewing of YouTube creators who offer negative criticism mostly.

At some point if everything is "bad", don't we have to look at the reviewer, their media literacy, and ability to properly critique media?

Angry critic reviews used to be fun a decade ago. Now, they're pretty much the only thing out there, and people don't know how to enjoy entertainment anymore.

Hating is easier than liking. Hating gives people endorphins.

And a hate video brings in people who don’t like the movie (to hear someone agree with them) and people who do like it to argue in the comments.

Both bring engagement, engagement is money.
