In my experience Snyder Cultists and MAGA overlap in basically a circle. And out of all the MAGAs, pedos, and literal Nazis on Twitter; Snyder Cultists were the only ones that sent me death threats.

Even though I like Snyder's movies, like I've told Bob I've NEVER thought of myself as one of these rabid cultists. And in fact when I even merely SUGGESTED giving Gunn the benefit of the doubt at the time, I got the angriest of reactions, up to and including the aforementioned death threats.

It does seem obvious in highsight that Synder's Superman was based on fascist iconography and Randian objectivism.

Cavill tried to imbue him with humanity, but MOS Superman was all about power. I really am interested in Gunn's hopeful Superman.

Not that it's the direction I want them to go with the new DC movies, (multiverse fatigued) but having the fascist/Snyderverse naturally continuing to evolve into the Justice Lords and eventually attacking the liberal/Gunn universe in a big multi-movie event could have been an interesting path.
