wait, what you're saying is 9 months, that's how long people are pregnant, right? but if you're preggers you go to 40 weeks. that's 10 months! so, can the pro weigh in here? what's the wheel say for conception days for these birthdays? sorry to be a weirdo!

honestly months often are not exactly 4 weeks! a lot are somewhere between 4-5 weeks and the time we count as “pregnancy” technically starts around two weeks BEFORE conception when you actually aren’t pregnant at all! so those factors & delivering early, it ends up being more around 9 months

i guess i'm counting months as 4 weeks. there is no need to normalize this really, but if someone asks me how long humans are pregnant am I safe to say 40 weeks and skip the whole month bit?

40 weeks is the AVERAGE time. Due dates aren’t always on the dot, they are estimations.

I know the exact dates I conceived because we were actively trying and I was tracking dates on a calendar.

Also 9 months is about 39 weeks 🥰
