There isn’t a reason to if you primarily play on PC. I have a nice PC and Series X in the house and will hop between playing Metaphor on the couch and on PC. Or CoD campaign. Basically, Play Anywhere games.
But if you have a small space or just one display and have a PC there isn’t much reason
Its like me and Switch. I have 0 hours logged on Switch this year. Bought about a dozen games and pay for NSO but I play it all on PC cause its a better experience.
Kind of a weird complaint when one of the great things about Xbox Game Pass offerings is that they're available on console or PC. So the complaint is that they're meeting you where you want to play?
I've got no issue with where he plays games. I just don't understand someone who prefers playing on PC calling out Xbox when Xbox provides all of its Game Pass games on console and PC. PlayStation and Nintendo aren't doing that.
Yeah there's def hypocrisy there. If you want to play game X badly enough to buy it, how can you not give them credit for making it available for free on the sub service you already have? Doesn't make sense.
Nor does it make sense to have such narrow platform usage if you are a journo.
No doubt. I understand if his PC games are all on Steam, which means he's not interacting with Xbox's PC offerings. But he should at least be aware of and acknowledge them instead of making this weird pronouncement.

You'd imagine a journalist and reviewer would make a point to play more games across various platforms for their job.
