What Republicans are pushing for are not "reforms." They want to make it harder for people to vote and easier for the GOP to cheat. If they enact new voter suppression and election subversion laws, we will sue and we will win. https://www.npr.org/2025/01/13/nx-s1-5254181/election-integrity-policy-save-act-cleta-mitchell

ID laws do nothing to prevent election fraud. Any other argument is irrelevant if we acknowledge they haven’t even achieved their objective in legislation.
Threats, intimidation, violence.
The difference is, American have the law on their side technically, the republicans are lawless.
You are always putting in the work 💪

that's the difference - these folks are shitty people
They hack/cheat, they get away with it, then they cheat again, and get away with it... and a habit is formed.
There will at least be an executive order requiring voter ID in all 50 states as one of their first acts. If successful, vote by mail is next.
Makes me wonder
Also, I do not feel comfortable showing my birth certificate to a stranger so I can vote. Identity theft is a big problem. How are volunteers at voting stations going to be vetted to make sure they will not steal our identity.

Moral insanity from the Republicans where clumps of cells and stocks have more rights than citizens.
I look forward to returning to a time where SOSs and Congress want sound, honest, fact-based elections practices - including hand-marked paper ballots, risk-limiting audits, and so forth. Not this cynical bullshit.
We audit ALLLLL their fucking elections/investigate donations/check their hard drives🤬
Reacting instead of PROACTING is getting old
Call the US Congressional Switchboard (202) 224-3121 and raise hell! Tell your representatives in the House to vote NO on H.R. 8281, the SAVE Act! Make some noise and jam the switchboard!
