As Irish writer/musician Larry Kirwan wrote in 2009 (in a different context), the American people are "easily conned, as befits a populace that's over-entertained and under-informed."
Sadly, this is not easily fixed.
The joke used to be that in NY you'd read the Times and laugh at the Post, and the other way round in DC. Now I'm not sure we even have a paper of record any more.
Maybe this is The Epoch Times' opportunity to break into the big leagues.
