This sounds like an intelligent and sustainable approach to climate change in general. Figure out the worst-case scenario and build to withstand it. I see this starting to happen along the Texas coast, too, with hurricane building codes for beachfront properties.

Change auto cabin filter to a 99.4% HEPA filter! $5 more cost! $25-$30. Like a N99.4% Respirator for all air from outside entering the car!
You taste feel the neutral air difference! With Forest fires? If O2 stays 19% they will pull out all the Smoke!

Hope they have Corsi-Rosenthal filters all over the Library! If smoke in air outside HVAC gets turned off or to purge.
So filtering the air is a good idea! $80 each to make! EPA & UCONN proved 99% efficient! For Covid, bacteria, Dust and Fire smoke particulate or smog.
