I don't like the thought of Israeli civilians being hurt. I feel exactly the same way about Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian and now Iranian civilians, whom the IDF has brutalized to greater or lesser degrees.

I would much rather see diplomacy prevail, but the State of Israel and its US backers prefer violence, which will naturally invite violence in return.
The attack on Iran will likely push its regime to develop nuclear weapons. It will likely convince other states that Israel can't be reasoned with and the US can't be trusted.
In the long term, this is bad for Israel.
I don't care how bad Iran's human rights record is, frankly, because ISRAEL IS COMMITING GENOCIDE IN GAZA.
