Guess I should actually figure out why my desktop no longer fully shuts down then. By all accounts it SHOULD shut down, but all the lights stay on and the fans stay spinning.
If it is a Windows machine, could try booting into Safe Mode and seeing if it shuts down properly. If so, probably some program when using Windows normally that's not allowing itself to be closed...or possibly something borked with Windows itself
Laptops, graphics cards, major appliances, consoles, phones. Basically if it's manufactured in China (which is most things with chips in them) it's going to be a whole lot more expensive next year.
Yep, Tariffs are one of a few things the president can institute unilaterally and Trump has been very vocal about returning to that policy. Increased tariffs, especially from China, are going to cause everything with chips to significantly increase in price.
Man I wish there was a way to adjust mute settings because this comment didn't make much sense to me until I realized having the orange cheeto's name muted for my feed also means it mutes mentions lol
lol I do appreciate that but I knew he was talking about the US. I just know a lot of people that impacts and this isn't something I'd heard about yet (though it likely still would have some implications for us on certain goods, I think a lot of our stuff lands in certain US ports first)
