Some people laugh with the “kkkkk” sound (sounds like the “ca” in “car”), but in my experience it’s usually older people

although we do sometimes say cácácá ironically, we're much closer to the jajaja style of laughing. you can actually watch wagner moura laugh in brazilian for a few minutes in the mr. and mrs. smith series. it does feel like kkkkk though.
