Hbomberguy and LEMMiNO are the main character’s once a year, but they don’t overstay their welcome, and when they upload it’s a big event. That might be the best for longevity.

Its this. Once people become popular they tend to fumble more. And since there are more eyes on them its easier for those mistakes to be seen. And since most people don't actually respond to criticism well at all...it creates more drama.
