The product their monopoly is monetising are the victims who pay them without getting anything in return when it's time to hold up the insurer's end of the bargain.
It really is because Republican voters hate half this country and are perfectly ok with letting people suffer. No one has done more to deny their friends, family. And coworkers healthcare than scumbags that vote Republicon. The most heartless voters to ever exist
My U-card now only credits $25 instead of $40 into my monthly account and only a limited amount of online products sent by Amazon are available in their catalogue.
Last year, I bought dental care products I liked at CVS.
That’s history.
I for one have a bridge I would like to sell those that believe in today’s insurance industry. All I need is a release of those willing to pay for a product they never received and are quite willing to continue those payments. I won’t raise your rates. Just denials. A win win
I have worked in HC my entire life. I’ve completed the whole circle from the pt encounter to working in the AG’s Fraud department. I’ve testified in court cases as a SME. The issue is that nobody knows how to control their destiny. I’ve considered a feed on “how to” fight back 2 get claims paid.
Not only that, but it's the insurance companies' very presence that has caused health care costs to skyrocket in the first place and ensure that everybody who's not a billionaire NEEDS health insurance. Which is something I think of as "the mortgage problem", because a similar dynamic applies there.
People in the US have so little knowledge of the outside world that they have trouble remembering that it exists.
So there are no counter examples in a world of counter examples.
This would be the how.
If the money was going to the doctors, nurses, researchers, etc, I wouldn't have nearly the problem, but it's going to shareholders. Simply unfathomable.
Yeah but state funded health care, free at the point of use for all and funded by graded taxation (depending on wealth and financial status) in the spirit of mutual support of each other as humans is all a bit woke and socialist isn’t it. It’s not what white jesus would want.
Agree. American health insurance is a scam. They collect money, provide no real service, decide who lives or dies, and the average American pays 2-3 times more than citizens in developed countries with universal healthcare. It's outrageous and unsustainable.

#UnitedHealthcare do better!
I can't even count how many times I've been on the bad end of insurance my entire adult life. It's unquantifiable.
We’re the disposable product.

Oh, I don't know, a public plan no one profits off of? So all the money goes towards the healthcare? How about that, for a start, morons??
