What most people don’t realize is that was the ACTUAL point of the Monopoly game. To give people a concrete example of how predatory capitalism actually works in a way they can understand and perhaps have a little fun at it
Monopoly destroys capitalism. A brilliant woman created the game to teach you how miserable it is to lose continually to the one with the most money. She wanted everyone to learn why we prevent monopolies if we want to preserve capitalism.
