hi-lo seems to go through prolonged up/down swings in the quality of its food (though i always adore the vibe) and right now feels like a real up period. so good. my whole family was extremely happy with their meals.

just realized i used "perfect" twice in quick succession in the first post—not great writing but i stand by it as a fitting statement of my meat-fueled euphoria
I love Hi-Lo but long ago on our first trip, my wife ordered their special donut of the day which was lobster roll inspired. What we got was a sweet donut slathered in cocktail sauce topped with some small chunks of lobster. It was horrifying! But we’ve been back
