Ayreni is a fantasy world (surprising, i know) that i started developing back in early 2021.
The idea was born when i was researching about geological formations, and decided to spread some into a map.
I've focused development into the southeastern continent: Pacha'kary
Ukukami
Bugbears descended from the people who used to live in the forests north of the hattuni ridge
They were had to adapt to the frozen mountains after being forced out of their homelands.
Their main inspiration is the Tehuelche people.
Yaguaravá
Part of the Jasy'va - an exapansive force in Pacha'kary, that was turned many generations ago into Were-jaguars after some shenanigans with some deities and shitty people.
(still need development, have these sketches and early version of said deity)
Nabi-Xorê
Elves living in the Pyta Wetlands, they are the powerhouse for magic arts in the continent, and have kept very delicate political truces with the Jasy'va
Main inspiration are ribeirinhos (fluvial communities in the amazon river), with amazonic indigenous motifs
still need development
