You want to win a war, you have to invest in the weapons and people to fight it. No 2 ways about it. Putin invaded with weapons of war and weapons deemed illegal by the UN and NATO. How do you want Zelenskyy to fight back? With daisies? No. Weapons against weapons. Simple. That is war.

We have sent people to train Ukrainians on the equipment being given because we are the experts. We have sent food, Canada has the largest Ukrainian population abroad, we have sent money, equipment, medical supplies. What YOU want to have happen is not reality, not even close.

That perspective makes sense to me. And don’t you think the US has invested enough in munitions? Isn’t it legitimate for citizens to demand that our county stop taking our tax money for weapons manufacturing and started using it to rebuild our very outdated infrastructure?

Until this war is done, the US needs to honor its written & signed commitments to Ukraine. That's what you're supposed to do in the face of oppression by a dictator wannabe, no matter the cost, because if you think this is just Ukraine vs Russia, I'd like to remind you this is how WW2 started.
