Still that isn't fully the fault of Toriel and is still a stupid reason to hate her. Kris walks around town every chapter. None of this validates people trying to villainize her

And isn't Tenma unable to put people to sleep? Wouldn't he have done that sooner? Also, why would the knight put her to sleep when they could just abduct them anyway? They clearly have no issue resorting to violence.
