A friends cat went missing and was found 11 years later not far from where she lived at the time. She wasn't around for long after but at least the time she did have was back in the arms of her loving owners

Oh my word! This is like the Swedish cat that did the same thing, living 2 km away from his original owner and only wandering back after ~7 years.
