He is also responsible for paying the Canadian government for the repair costs, estimated to be about $65K. He should also have to pay something for loss of property that the tanker was going to helping. Just saying….

I almost (not really but almost) feel sorry for the guy. This is one of those "it seemed like a good idea at the time" kind of things that quickly turned into "now everyone knows you're a colossal jerk" kind of things.
