She isn’t MAGA. She is socially conservative but less steeped in political ideology. I think Roberts has a hold on her to a certain degree. She is workable, whereas Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, Alito and Thomas are firmly right wing.

Roberts and Barrett are the only two you could consider a “swing” vote. So 5-4 is about as good as it gets. But they all play their own game. Roberts is a power player, he tries to balance the good with the bad to pad SCOTUS image. Barrett on the other hand isn’t MAGA, just socially conservative.
