You have to keep these things in balance. It's not as though somebody shot up a Tesla dealership. And anyway, this might be a Kyle Rittenhouse situation, where the shooter will end up being a guest at Mar-a-Lago if the victims had it coming.

When do we need to pray symbolically? I prefer to stick to a schedule, and I have plenty to do today besides empty gestures. I'm fairly certain God is thinking, "I've given them all the tools to stop this, so I don't have to personally intervene in every shooting."
