It’s exciting to see them play for something. I believe largely because Heinimen is back and everyone fits in and can roll four lines. Dach may have some high end skills but plays just average most of the time with poor decisions. Beck is a suitable replacement for him. Such huge decisions coming.
Another great text Eric. The future looks bright when you see how the younger guys are stepping up and playing great under pressure. Add in the prospects that will be coming in the near future and the #Habs should have a contending team for a long time.
With Guhl injured, D has looked good. Young guys Struble, Hutson, Xjekaj supporting Matheson, Carrier and Savard is very encouraging. This with Reinbacker and Mailloux coming and guys like Engstrom, Konyushkov etc
Great article …the future is bright… even if we don’t make the playoffs. We have made significant progress this year. Next year in my opinion will be the beginning of an era where #Habs make the playoffs every year for several years in a row, and possibly a cup in 4 to 5 years.
Another great summary Eric. It’s nice to see the younger guys take more responsibility in helping to get the win. Although it’s a long shot, it’s still possible to make the playoffs. Even if they don’t , you want them to finish the season strong.
Well said Eric, the progression of these guys is showing and will only be beneficial going forward! They can only control what is in front of them! It will be fascinating final 20 something games
I just can't see them dismantling trading Evans or Dvorak before Friday. They're too close to a playoff spot, and trading another C wouldn't make sense.
