I got some porn bot followers a week ago. I blocked them. I don't see them anymore. I think the mods have done a good job so far. After I'm alerted to one, I go to it and it's already suspended.
Do you know if there's a way to query the api for account stats? I'd love to do something like label and hide accounts open for less than N days, accounts that post or reply so fast you know it's a bot, or accounts with 0 posts but thousands of replies, etc.
I get followers in clusters of three at a time and 2/3s of them are porn bots, the other third ends up being blocked because it's some weirdo who just reblogs jesus pics or the kinds of posts https://despair.com mocks.
People expect way too much way too fast. Moderation requires a sample base. Heuristics requires a sample base. Automated banning of porno bot accounts will take time. Feel free to block anything you want in the meantime, unlike Twitter block actually does something here. Maybe calm down a little.
Apparently so. There's the whole issue with a transphobic actively sending trolls to doxx and harass trans folk here that got a free pass to do so here. But I guess when you get crypto VC funding, it's not surprising.

is there a way to force them to unfollow you or is blocking them the only option?
