Turn all TVs on you have connected to streaming services, volume off, and have them tuned to any service NOT carrying the inaugural. Roku, Apple TV and the cable services likely report viewer numbers to Nielson.

I read somewhere that it’s better to have the tv on to a different program than to turn it off. This is so they can count how many of the viewers watching tv at that time, tuned into the inauguration. His percentage will be lower if actual TVs are tuned to a different show.
