We need to cancel Everything Amazon instead of the one week boycott. After all they’ve done to our small hometown businesses is unforgivable. I canceled and I’m having fun looking for merchant replacements. I’ve found many gifts on Etsy and found all brick and mortar stores have websites.

I have a very strong doubt about the effectiveness of a boycott of a business once they have achieved a near monopoly on the market. Whether we buy today or wait a week we’ll buy because there aren’t local options and Walmart is a worse choice.

I understand that for some folks home delivery is a convenience.
For a lot of us we have to pay more for home delivery from Amazon and grocery stores because we are disabled and have no other options. Besides Walmart and fuck Sam Walton and his heirs.
