Unpopular opinion, I don’t mind paying my game 80-90$ if the game is polished, contains a lot of feature, is fun to play and more important the dev are paid well and the company do not use AI.

i don't think it's a good thing because with those price the games aren't accessible anymore and video game is slowly beginning to become a rich hobby, games with a lot of interseting content are not always the most expensive so i don't agree with you
In France it was between 40-50 in the 3ds Era and even when the switch games where between 60-80 I always found them between 40-50 in supermarket (I said for France because I don't know if it was the same in other European countries) so actually it's twice the price we had before
I just said 3ds as a period mark, but i think I can still compare. It's always in shop specialized in video games where the price are the more high. In supermarket I always find games at a more reasonable price. I also bought from second hand yes
I feel the future will be more with indies, we really have a lot of great deals with steam too and I put a lot of hour on games I would never expected spending that much time at first!
If I remember right I think Ive paid ToTK that price (yes it’s expensive)
Also I don’t know if tariff will make a difference since we don’t have the CAN price yet 🥲

I always feel video games was a rich hobbie 😭 (maybe except for indies game on steam)
Also pretty sure you can go with second hand and get them cheaper
There aren't any official listings here at least so I have some hope but not much
Also I don’t know if tariff will make a difference since we don’t have the CAN price yet 🥲
Here's hoping for the CAN price to be reasonable
