but I really do just wish I could dedicate my online presence to fun things like game dev, writing, playing games both tabletop and on computers of various sizes. I especially want to live my day to day life free from those worries. It's just really hard when my existence itself is a topic of debate

Regardless, on here I do hope to just get to focus more on healthy engagements. Building community with people. Sure, real life may still be the way it is but maybe we can build something, somewhere, for people to be safe from that. Even for just a moment.

oh and for the sake of clarity, this doesn't mean I won't be political or discuss politics here. It will still come up a decent bit but I don't want it to be focused on arguing as much. It's fucking tiresome ya know

Very true words indeed. All I ever wanted to do with my life was to run a coffee shop with a side of books and tabletop games. I hope to do that one day.
