While I fully understand the anachronism of a heredity HoS Electing one will come with its own set of issues that you need to rationally and calmly debate
As a starting point we have to accept that countries like Denmark, Sweden etc have a monarchy
I'm no monarchist. Far from it. But given they were all born in this country since at least Victoria, I am struggling to see how they aren't true Brits? How far back do you need them to go?
I remain unconvinced about the benefits of an elected HoS and I'm certainly not beholden to Chas and Billy....I respect the office they hold but that doesn't require me to be on my knees
Yep. However, the scum that read the Daily Mail/Sun/Telegraph will argue that they are decent people and have the right to sponge off society though. They have done nothing and they have never contributed anything whatsoever to society. Utter filth.
Dressing up as women? When did you last see a women in a long royal robe 🤷♀️. I'm not a monarchist but the comments on this thread almost make me change my mind.

What are the benefits of having a political HoS
It is an ‘appointment’ based on accident of birth.
Don’t think there is a true Brit among the lot of them.
They are German, Greek and Russian!
None of us chose him.
No one chose his mother or his grandfather etc either.
So don’t talk as if it were anything to do with Wales.
