Anger/Berserk mode (2nd -> + /Final Boss Phase)
falling down and knocking over a potion that drains into my mouth, prepping an inflation spell but holding the wand backward, growth ray was meant to hit someone else but they ducked and it hit me instead

Or someone being flustered growing larger, then more flustered, then even larger.
The more you eat the more you grow.
I also like when it doesn't have a clear catalyst; it just happens as a bodily reaction someone has to try really hard to keep under control when it arises—and it can happen when they least expect it. 👀
Add in teasing/flustering a giant to let their emotions control how big they go!
